Work Experience

The Work Experience Programme is designed to help the students discover their aptitudes and passions for different streams and prepare them for the future workplace. They are assessed rigorously on their performance in the following subjects:

  • Robotics : The robotics programme covers concepts ranging from mechanical design, the basics of movements and motions to sensors and computer programming. The goal of the programme is to familiarise students with the mechanical design aspect of robotics.
  • Music : This includes general music appreciation, western vocals, classical and choral studies, drums, team management, keyboard-piano and many more performance skills.
  • Dance : This includes both Indian and Western Dance.
  • Programming : Coding is an invaluable skill that helps kasturians think computationally and learns to program fosters problem-solving skills, sparks creativity and enhances logical thinking.
  • International language : kasturian learns the chinese as well as french language in the school.
  • Ceramics and Pottery : This includes an understanding of how to use Plaster of Paris, wires, and metal scrap; develop an understanding of aesthetically displaying sculptures, indoors and outdoors; and designing pots apart from learning processes such as pinching, coiling, and slabbing. The programme also allows students to practice wheel pottery (centring on the potter's wheel), achieving independence while working on the potter's wheel to design items, glaze making and application, exposure to kiln firing and glaze kiln firing.
