The School is affiliated to the Council for the central board for secondary Examinations, New Delhi, an all-India Board. The School has classes from Nur to XII. The academic year begins in April and the Final Examinations are conducted in March of the following year.

English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi holds a place of very high importance in the curriculum, and every effort is made to ensure that each kasturian reaches a high standard in the language. A third language is taught in the Middle School, for which an option between Sanskrit and french is available. French is also taught as an activity, which enables kasturian to reach a basic level of proficiency without opting for it as a formal subject.

Computer Science is also introduced at this level. The well-defined CBSE Curriculum is followed with special attention to monitor the progress of students. Special guidance and coaching is provided at secondary and senior secondary level, helping students excel at various entrance examinations.
